35 years equestrian experience in show jumping and eventing and now in natural Horsemanship. The specialised Horse Whispering Youth Program has grown out of the well-known and highly regarded work that Sue Spence has been doing for many years in using horses to help humans learn effective communication skills and body language skills. The HWYP Program quickly became in demand throughout the local youth organisations.
Recognising the important need for a program such as this to help the growing numbers of young people coming from disadvantaged or dysfunctional home environments, HWYP was incorporated as a not-for-profit organisation on 14th October 2011 with Sue Spence as President. HWYP was endorsed as a tax concessioned charity on 8th November 2011 and approved as a deductible gift recipient charity on 3rd December 2012.
